Images & Media
What file sizes are allowed for property images?
Image files do not need to be large for digital use so we recommend any file size up to a maximum of 2MB per image.
Can I upload a property video?
You can include a link to your property video on your listing, and this will then display on the property portals once your listing is live. The video itself should be uploaded to and hosted on a video hosting site such as 'YouTube' or 'Vimeo' first.
What image file formats do Quicklister accept?
The best image formats are JPEG or PNG file types. For iPhone users you can set your camera to take images in JPEG format by going to Settings > Camera > Formats and select Most Compatible. This switches the format from HEIC to JPEG.

What do I need to provide as proof of ownership?
There are a number of documents you can provide including:
- A land registry document
- Mortgage statement
- Property deed
- Solicitors letter confirming ownership
- Buildings insurance document
- Service charge statement
How long does it take before my ad appears on the property sites?
On average properties will be live on the property sites within 24 hours of submission, but often faster than this.
Can Estate/Letting Agents advertise on Quicklister?
No, Quicklister is a platform for property owners to utilise an online estate agency service. Estate agents who would be eligible to advertise on Rightmove & Zoopla are not eligible to advertise via Quicklister.
Viewings & Enquiries
Do I need to do the viewings?
Yes, Quicklister is an advertising and remote support service nationwide.
How do I receive enquiries from the property portals?
Email and telephone enquiries from the property portals will appear in the 'Messages' section in your Quicklister account. Here you will find the name, email address and phone number of the applicant along with the message they have sent. You can respond via the Quicklister chat function or contact them by phone or email.
What questions should I ask a sales applicant before offering a viewing?
You may want to ask sales applicants the below questions before offering a viewing appointment:
- Are they selling a property in order to buy? If yes, have they got this property on the market yet?
- Do they have a mortgage agreed in principle yet with a lender or will they be purchasing entirely with cash?
- Are they moving locally or from further afield? If they are not local, do they know the area well?
What questions should I ask lettings applicants before offering a viewing?
You may want to ask lettings applicants the below questions before offering a viewing appointment:
- Approximately when are they looking to move to a new property?
- How many people will be living at the property?
- Their current occupation(s)/employment status?
- Do they have any pets moving with them?
Referencing
How do I reference a tenant?
You can request and manage your reference checks via your Quicklister account for as many applicants as you like. Reference checks are carried out by our referencing partner Goodlord and are chargeable at £25.00 per tenant/guarantor reference.
What happens if the references fail?
If the initial references fail you can pay to reference alternative applicants, or 'un-pause' your marketing to re-list for a further period.
Sales Process & Solicitors
Can I use my own solicitor?
Yes, you can use your own preferred solicitor or request a solicitors quote from our conveyancing Partners ‘Nova’. This will then be emailed to you for you to consider.
How do I confirm a sale once a buyer has been found?
Once you provide details of your chosen buyer and their solicitor to the 'My Offers' section in your account, we will instruct solicitors for both parties and carry out the necessary AML (Anti Money Laundering) checks. Your buyer(s) will receive an SMS message from 'Aply ID' in order to provide photo ID and confirm their identity so these checks can be completed. This is a very quick process.
